As much as Maidana vs Lucas would kick a$$, I'd first want to see Paulie vs Maidana and Lucas vs Garcia. Both Maidana and Lucas deserve to get a shot at the title.

Golden Boy is just being player haters like usual.

they want Matthysse vs Maidana for a few reasons.

1. Apirl 27th is the same night Sergio Martinez's fight. why not cut into the ratings in Argentina and the US. Malignaggi vs Mosley wouldn't have done that.

2. Golden Boy has poorly promoted Matthysse and Maidana. Golden Boy has a lot of fighters at 140 and 147 but you don't see any of them in a meaning fight against these two guys.


I'm so sick of Golden Boy, I can't wait until people realize how they operate.

Thank you, my sentiments exactly. Maidana Matthysse has fight of the year written all over it, who hasn't wanted to see that for at least two years?. Boxing fans are an odd bunch at times.
