Nice call on the fight, bro.

In a thread before the bout, we were asked to predict the outcome of every fight on the broadcast. I picked Matthysse by mid-late round KO. It was more a hunch than anything else, as I wasn't confident in my prediction, but I made a call anyway.

Garcia impressed me. Danny did everything he had to do to win. I now see him as one of those guys that just doesn't seem as good as they really are. You have them in every sport. Guys like that are often underestimated because they just don't "look" good.

Matthysse will get inside Garcia's looping WIIIIIIDE shots and kill him to the body. Simple.

Actually, with Matthysse's body work and Garcia's pretty boy face that cuts from just breathing on it. This will be a guaranteed TKO.

Thanks man.. I can't really say I knew he would win for sure but I knew he wasn't walking through Garcia and I truly believed Garcia was a little more versatile and had the edge in experience AM's included.. But more then anything I was fueled by a hatred of these guys claiming Mathysse was some sort of invincible iguana eating freak of nature... Looked pretty normal to me the other night.. I'm going to have fun wih these guys he next couple days I some of them ever come out of hiding

That's why I say it was a nice call. It seemed that 90% of Boxingscene thought Matthysse was going to KO Garcia. As I said, pressed for an answer, I predicted the same.

I'm chucking to myself as I read some of these threads. Some guys are con****uously absent. lol I remember the same thing after Rigo beat Donaire. They'll eventually resurface, once the initial heat cools down a notch. It could take a while. lol

Lol I think it will take longer than it did with donaire there were some pretty ridiculous outlandish things being said... I mean **** I've never been as confident about any boxing match as these guys were I usually make my pick state my reasons and keep it moving but somewhere in the back of my mind I realize the nature of the beast and I know this sport is crazy ... You can't end any other sport with one pass,swing of the bat, shot etc... This one can be done in a matter of seconds. I never give anyone more than I'd say 85% chance of winning .. ANYONE
