If Peter beats Diaz convincingly then I will believe that he could be a serious contender in the near future. I'd like to see how he handles a bomb from a big puncher as well. This fight against Diaz should be a pretty good test for him.
is Samuel Peter the heir apparent?

pudar has never been stopped dude, do your homeworkComment

i dont think he is a lock to be the next unified champ or something, i just think he looks like he has potential and i wanted to see what other people think about it thats all, i asked if he is the heir apparent in a question form, not a statement, in the pudar fight he didnt impress me, but he showed more speed and awesome power against williams who was on a hot streak, he has the build and the power, the chin needs testing thoughComment

i agree with that, he could be a bum, but right now he looks like the only promising prospect ive seen, i dont know how good he is yet, but that punch he landed on williams was heavy as hell, you could hear the thud, he isnt that tall though, which is a drawbackComment

Peter I think is the next Davis Tua, in the sense that he will make things exciting, knock out alot of good fighters, but never become a dominant champ. While an alphabelt is very much in grasp, I think he will thoroughly outboxed when he gets to the top. But he will make things very interesting in the coming years...Comment

I wasn't calling Peter a bum either. Pudar is the bum. Peter is just a decent prospect at the moment. Nothing more, nothing less.Originally posted by dansweeneyi agree with that, he could be a bum, but right now he looks like the only promising prospect ive seen, i dont know how good he is yet, but that punch he landed on williams was heavy as hell, you could hear the thud, he isnt that tall though, which is a drawbackComment

now that is a good analysis, only peter is taller with better reach, and with some seasoning he could be really good, i just like that he actually has power, im sick of seeing everydam heavyweight fight these days go 12 rounds, i want kayos and hopefully he keeps knocking people outOriginally posted by asian_sensationPeter I think is the next Davis Tua, in the sense that he will make things exciting, knock out alot of good fighters, but never become a dominant champ.
