Can anyone really debate Pac being fighter of decade?

Going through the old, great fights again.

    He fought

    Barrera x2
    Morales x3
    Marquez x2 (2000s)
    ODLH
    Cotto
    Hatton

All of the fights were exciting, he was the aggressor in pretty much every one and always came to fight.

Easiest fighter of the decade ever

Floyd should have won it hands down...he was p4p the entire decade

      beat

      hatton
      oscar
      corrales
      castillo
      judah
      gatti

      won 3 lineal titles
      5 world titles

      all while going undefeated

and on a side note you are counting a loss and a draw for manny

He deserved it but of course theres one fighter that would make it a valid debate. At the end of the day he fought for it and I have no quarrel.

He beat Marquez twice? He beat Morales 3 times?

He barely beat Marquez once, he lost once to Morales. You can't be listing fighters losses like that to impress people. That's now how you measure accomplishments or how good a resume is.

And I would put Pacquiao as the 4th best fighter of 2000-2009.

Mayweather, Hopkins, Marquez ranking before Pacquiao.

And was already coming in to the decade as a young SFW lineal champion by beating Genaro Hernandez. His wins over Gerena and Manfredy were also impressive at the time[late 90s] but of course as the years go by and new fans come in to the sport, the value of those wins are degraded by people who know nothing about those times. So he was already dominating very good fighters coming in to the 2000s decade.

I believe floyd had a better decade and Bernard had just as good or better. Floyd's inactivity in the latter part of the decade hurt his candidacy, but he did go undefeated. Manny fought more but did have a loss and a draw.

Yet only 1 of those fights was really entertaining

If Hopkins fought Calzaghe or Jones 3 times and twice, is losing and drawing a bad thing? Pacquiao fought the best and went toe to toe every time.

No, it's because he took bigger fights and was far more entertaining.
