@Kev you're also on a roll with your useless replies. Why don't you just stay out? Who wouldnt wanna see Broner-Salido back then?

@Larry I don't think so. He's with Zanfer if Im not mistaken. They deal with Top Rank but they have also dealt with GBP. Remember Mayweather-Marquez? Yea...

Really? Let me guess, this is a hate thread? I guess half of you missed the second half of my question. Simply discussing boxing here. Or do you rather me make a thread about Floyd and then convert it into a Pacquiao thread as well?

Why y'all get so defensive when you're fighter is talked about? Isn't that actually a good thing?

Nobody was calling for that fight. Pointless fight between a guy who not only had the style advantage but also the size advantage and a FW.

Marquez has been with Zanfer for as long as I could remember... Or am I wrong?

Just cause he fights such and such or deals with them it doesn't mean he's with them. Its called co promoting.

Different styles though. Broner will pick you apart at close range. He's too fast and powerful at close distances. And on top of that Salido would be at a pretty large size disadvantage.

Ponce De Leon moved, boxed and kept Broner off balance. Salido would be a smaller guy trying to get inside and swarm a larger/faster fighter.

And i don't ever recall DeMarco making Broner uncomfortable at any point in their fight. If anything, DeMarco lost the fight when he tried to make it an inside fight against a bigger guy with much faster hands. I thought his best shot would be to keep the fight at a distance and use his southpaw jab more.

On the inside in the middle of the ring yea but he got Broner on the ropes once or twice if I recall correctly.
