    Why didnt Broner fight Salido?

I remember there was a bunch of **** talking going back and forth. It seemed to me like Salido was on board for the fight but Broner instead fought Escobedo. What happened there? Could had Salido done any better than Escobedo?

Broner was jumping two divisions when all that was happening. It was just sh** talk, nothing else.

I'm not sure of the details of why it never happened but I don't think Salido would have stood a better chance.

I actually think a fighter that boxes and moves will give Broner the most problems.

You are on a roll today.

        Bradley-Abregu II
Broner[A giant SFW at the time]-Salido[Featherweight]

You are a very good matchmaker, you know what fights the fans want to see.

Let's add Alexander-Bailey II in there as well as Trout-Malignaggi.

What do you mean? He fought Escobedo at 130 and Salido has been expressing his desire to fight at 130 for a while. As a matter of fact, his last fight was at 130. He fought someone overmatched but physically he looked great. He was also throwing a mean hook to the body.

Don't forget Ponce is smaller than Salido and gave Broner all he could handle. Would you say Salido is a level above Ponce? I would say so.

@Kev you're also on a roll with your useless replies. Why don't you just stay out? Who wouldnt wanna see Broner-Salido back then?

@Larry I don't think so. He's with Zanfer if Im not mistaken. They deal with Top Rank but they have also dealt with GBP. Remember Mayweather-Marquez? Yea...

One more thing, Broner didn't look too comfortable on the ropes vs DeMarco... The couple of times he was on them.

Broner nearly weighed in at lightweight for Escobedo, and was a lightweight for his next fight. Salido is still at featherweight. The talk between the two was just that, talk.
