I have yet to see an article or interview with Uchiyama saying he's looking to fight in the US, but I could be wrong.

Still, this isn't happening anytime soon.

Excellent fight and about time a sanctioning body is ordering a fight for the fans.

That said, I don't see this fight materialising. Uchiyama is a real danger for Gamboa who was taken to deep water by Farinas.

so losing 11 out of 12 rounds and the one he won was because he land a haymaker that Gamboa never saw coming (ala Marquez-Pacquio)and was on the verge of getting KO and you think he was in deep waters? Boxing fans nowdays...
