This is gonna be a tough one for Gamboa. He has to be careful with his weight this time around.

Good fight, Gamboa knocks him out.

I would understand if Gamboa wants to move up where the money is, he's 31 years old afterall, not 21.

Meh Gamboa was always gunna be a mandatory nothing knew here i think he will jump ship too lw.If they were too fight i think Gamboas handspeed and movement would allow him too outbox Uchiyama for large periods because Uchiyama is kinda slow in his feet and doesn't really use upper body movement but he has too be given a huge punchers chance that straight right and left hook are murderous weapons

I just find it odd that after a 15 month voluntary layoff, Ga.boa still has his #2 ranking. Oh well.

Exciting matchup. If Uchi puts one on Yuri's chin, it's gonna be a short night. Dude can ****.

It was not voluntary, it was business decisions. It's a lot harder than we think, all that promotion crap.

He'll know this is a legit opponent and take him seriously, when he does that, nobody is touching him. Looking forward to this.
                  Gamboa doesn't slow down much.

I agree that Yuri will take Uchiyama very seriously and beat him convincingly. Gamboa has a tendency to relax too much when he feels his opponent doesn't belong in the same ring with him.

                    LMFAO

No disrespect, but I think Gamboa destroys Uchiyama regardless if it is in Japan or the US...who in the *** have Uchiyama fought? He has Power but who the *** has he Knocked Out?

It is like Toshiaki Nishioka when people was hyping that dude up going into the Nonito Donaire fight, they hyped the hell out of the guy but yet if you really look back at it, that dude Resume was *****

Gamboa via KO he has never seen anything like Gamboa nor has he ever had to deal with that type of Hand Speed and Quickness...I think Gamboa overwhelms the hell out of Uchiyama and makes him look Weak!

Uchiyama has a punchers chance but only if he shows up on the night. I pick Gamboa but it should be a good clash if it goes ahead.
