Rigondeaux is penciled in for february 23rd I believe and I'm pretty sure him & his team have said if Donaire wants to sign on the dotted line they could do it but Donaire has said its too soon, he wants a march date (a week after lol)

Why would Mares want to fight Rigo? The Cuban isn't a cash cow, doesn't bring much of anything to the table, and has a different promoter.

He wants no part of any one with a pulse. The last guy he fought who had a bit of a pulse and wasn't one fight away from retirement or coming of a TKO loss was Mathebula and he beat him by 1 or 2 points.

If Rigo cancels his Feb date then obviously March can happen.

I don't make preconcieved notions. If Donaire does something I dont agree with, I mention it and have already gone against him over some things he has said.
