These threads can get pretty silly, I must say. Bottom line is that it isnt up to Donaire, Rigo, or Mares who their next opponent is going to be. Fighters can say they want this guy, or that guy, but it doesnt mean a thing. When a fighter signs a promotional contract, the opponent selection is given to the promoter, not the fighter.

Again, Tweets are Trivial and limited. The "anytime, anyplace" talk is not coming from someone who is at the negotiating table. Those quoted words are sheer publicity statements thrown out there by everyone for decades, overused cliche's. Detailed information is what is needed such as what specific dates are available, being considered, what networks have been contracted or about to be, details, details. It is hillarious reading the anytime, anyplace cliche comments. Time will bring out more details.
[QUOTE=AddiX;12891774]And I'm pretty sure the main reason rigo signed with top rank was to fight donaire.QUOTE] So what you are saying is A) Either Rigo gets the fight as promised or B) Rigo is a complete idiot for re-signing in December based on a PROMISE by Arum???? Which is it??? Rigo had the chance to go with someone else including GBP.

Its coming from Rigo's co-promoter so I don't know how it can be trivial.
