To avoid unnecessary and unpopular decisions do you think having fans call in or score rounds online like they do on FNF would be the answer to all the bad scoring in boxing? I think they should test this out. Most boxing fans are smart enough to score a fight. There is corruption in everything but with more people scoring there would be more chances of fairness instead of having 3 judges who can easily be persuaded for either side

Popular decisions that go the way of the undeserving fighter just because he has the bigger fan base. Fan scores can give a good idea but as you saw with Ennis-Gonzalez yesterday, easily swayed by a commentator's opinion.

Hell no. The country's with the largest numbers would win all the time.

Just by this site alone we see the flag toters defend "their guy" whether he is wrong or a disgrace.

Example 1: Antonio Margarito- a disgrace but we have Mexicans who would run to his aid if he murdered someone.

Example 2: Pac- He lost 3 of matches against JMM but ask a Pinoy and he was even "just about to KO JMM before he got caught by a "lucky punch" and he one all their matches.

Example 3: Cotto- Is unbeatable if he was not cheated or put at a weight disadvantage. Ask a Puerto Rican

..and we can go on and on....

The largest countrys would win every decision. Cant have that. If its 2 Americans...the largest state would win.

Online fan scoring for fights...Mercito Gesta would have won a 12-0 UD in his last fight ....fighters would go years without losing a decision
