Funk that! If I wanted biased, racist, nationalistic judging I'd have Adele Byrd fill out all three scorecards.
They should let fans do the scoring

wait why wouldn't ward get a decision? don't lump him with broner/floyd.Comment

I've got a better idea, let's bring back Eugenia Williams to score solo for every fight!
Sorry,but if this site is anything to go by, that would be a terrible, terrible idea.Comment

That would be worse than the judging now. Imagine the nuthuggers on this site having power over who wins a decision.Comment

@deeznuts
This thread is a fail. It's a non-issue. Take into account Mexicans hold the majority of boxing fanbase, SO, if all the Mexican call and vote for the Mexican fighter, we would be right back where we started .....
I do agree with your thinking though. Bad decisions hurt the sport.
I agree something needs to be done. My suggestions are: I side with Ref Joe Cortez(even though he was a shitty Ref) that the judges need a higher vantage point instead of having to look through the ropes. I also think championship fights should have 5 judges instead of 3. Hell, i'd be fine with every fight having 5 judges.
So, if we had 5 judges per fight, with the judges sitting up higher ... possibly even hanging from ceiling perches, we would finally have ideal conditions to prevent robberies.
I agree though some thing needs to change, bad decisions are hurting the sport.
To avoid unnecessary and unpopular decisions do you think having fans call in or score rounds online like they do on FNF would be the answer to all the bad scoring in boxing? I think they should test this out. Most boxing fans are smart enough to score a fight. There is corruption in everything but with more people scoring there would be more chances of fairness instead of having 3 judges who can easily be persuaded for either sideComment

Oh so you feel like Ward is universally popular? People with your idiot make up say he lost to Bika. "He's boring" would probably translate into him losing any close rounds.
Nope I wasn't. Stop putting words in my mouth David Duke.Comment
