Canelo is not a bum. He has been protected or at least it seems. A lot, if not almost all, of the top 154 pound fighters couldn't draw flies to s**t. They did try to get Williams and Kirkland, which should mean something. I'm not sure if he can beat Trout, but it will say a hell of a lot if that fight is made before a possible Floyd match up.

Okay, so all of a sudden you remember this, because I reminded you.

Why in your first post, did you agree with the OP's thread? Why couldn't you be an actual good poster, that you are perceived to be by 5 other posters according to the poll, and say "You know what, Papasito, I agree with most of what you said; but he did fight Ryan Rhodes at 154, who was ranked #4 at JMW....etc".

NOW you say this, AFTER I put you on the spot and try to make believe like it's YOUR actual argument?

No no no, Canelo signed to fight Williams, then he DUCKED him. That's a fact!

          You can't prove that.

Unless you're his manager, or secret hommie

How did he duck Williams after he signed to fight him? I thought the fight was signed and then Williams had that accident.

im amazed hes as popular as he is right now... he doesnt have a signature win...hes fought no one who means anything anymore.... that wasnt shane mosley in the ring with him... he hasnt proven anything... how can anyone say he deserves the mayweather fight? guerrero deserves it...he would have lost to cotto and he will get whitewashed if he faces trout....

What's Canelo's best win? has he ever been in fight of the year or better yet who has he been in wars with?

Not to mention the fact the kid was very disrespectful when he was talking to Don Nacho and a legend like Marquez. Accusing them of being jeaolous of him and even callin out Marquez . The kid doesn't and never will have my respect until he fights someone legit, people here in my town don't have any respect for Canelo

I concur. You can't please everyone, but I think for his age he's doing well for himself. This year will be huge for him.
