At least Broner is keeping busy fighting someone actually ranked, where as Canelo just got done fighting a career JWW at SWW.
Could have sworn Canelo is trying to fight Mayweather. Maybe I misread that somewhere?

.......Trying to fight Mayweather without putting in any dues whatsoever first. I mean fighting Mayweather is a little different than trying to fight other top fighters.....ANYONE would fight Mayweather, simply because they're going to get paid big time.

Ah so then you're saying Robert Guerrero has paid more dues than Canelo has then, right? Beating Andre Berto (which is the first and only fight at WW for Guerrero) is criteria enough to warrant a shot at Mayweather more so than Canelo correct?

Just an FYI, Guerrero has had two fights at welter.

Guerrero has done more than Canelo, that's undeniable. He's coming off two wins over Top 10 WW's in Aydin and Berto.

Why doesn't Canelo fight the guy who beat the guy he wanted to fight.....Austin Trout???

My point is, Canelo is TRYING to fight the best fighter in or around his weightclass. How could that possibly be cherry picking? He's at least trying to fight what who is perceived to be the biggest threat/challenge. What is Broner doing? Guerrero punked him to his face and Broner pulled the "talking to my promoter" especially after all the b.s. he talked. Why can't his fans just admit that this fight is ****?

And I know you're smart enough to know that Guerrero is not a bigger threat than Canelo. Guerrero is pretty much tailor made for Floyd and of course, non of his fans want to bring that up. All of a sudden, Guerrero is a monster that can't be stopped.

He just got done fighting the #1 ranked guy in the division, and was trying to unify with one of the other top guys in the division, Burns. Abril is fighting Bogere, Vazquez works with Zanfer who works closely with Top Rank, I could see Vazquez being in line for Gamboa possibly. I mean who else is there??? Reymundo Beltran, John Murray, Kevin Mitchell, etc???

It's a stay busy fight, they all have them, especially as young as Broner is.
Let me tell you right now. Beltran, Murray and Mitchell would be a better fight than Rees.

Garbage fight. F-ck HBO for wasting one of their cards on this.

Not a big fan of the Guerrero fight, but RIGHT NOW...it's more legit than Canelo is. Let Canelo win a good fight first....

If anything, Guerrero sounded like a punk when he said Broner would need to move up to 147 lbs to fight him, I mean it would have meant Broner jumping 3 weight classes at the time to fight Guerrero....not going to happen. That was all talk on both sides, that fight had 0% chance of happening and they both knew it.

This fight is a stay busy fight, hopefully Burns won't keep avoiding him....
