What's funny is we have Canelo fans criticizing this, and it's not a great fight, but it's a stay busy fight against a top 10 opponent. Rees will get killed, but who else is there realistically right now, aside from Burns, for February 16??? Murray, Beltran, Mitchell, it'd be the same story.

Besides, Vazquez is with Beltran (Zanfer), and he works closely with Top Rank, a well known fact. There's a better chance wee Gamboa-Vazquez next year, since 50 seems to be working closely with Top Rank.

Who else is there for Broner right now??? Ricky Burns is probably the best fight for him, and he wants a pointless tune up first, not Broner's fault. The rest of the Top 10 is Broner himself, Abril and Bogere who are fighting each other already, DeMarco who he already beat down, Burns who is avoiding him, Vazquez who's a Zanfer fighter and already turned down 350K to fight him in November, who else is there in the Top 10??? There's Rees, Murray, Mitchell, and Beltran, all would get the same response and beating afterward.
