Like i said. Paper belt, paper champion. It means nothing. He got that belt becuase some random russian vacate it who got that belt bacause they strip Sergio of it.

Sergio is the real champion. The only champion. He should be facing GGG to get a shot at Sergio, but he doesn't want any of that, he is happy being just another paper champ like Sturm was for a long time. But whatever, yeah, "protect" that belt, face any mandatory bum and stay away from the real middleweights while you can...

LOL It's funny because i hear people asking Sergio to fight this guy as if this Quillin were waiting for Sergio to take his challenge. But i don't think this guy want to face Sergio, he has made his plans for next year and he it's going to have a "real busy" agenda fighting b level fighters next year.

That's interesting you know because, when they announced that Chavez was going to fight Rubio, i remember a lot of people here bashing on that fight saying that it was an easy fight for Chavez and that his management was protecting him by *****g him against "these easy b level fighters". That was the same people that says that Quillin is top 5 and Chavez is a hypejob and a overprotected bum. But yet, somehow now that Rubio is fighting Quillin, Rubio is a good fighter and will test Quillin?

Maybe Chavez receives too much hate here for being so famous after all. Maybe Quillin is the one being overrated here...

I see nothing but praise in the Chavez vs Rubio announcement thread.

This is a doodoo fight. When is Quillin going to step up and look for a big fight against Golovkin, Pirog, Chavez Jr, or Martinez. Quillin doesn't want it, he even turned down Lucian Bute, and I bet because at the time he didn't feel he could beat him.

Absolutely Rubia deserves a title shot. I have him rated at #5 in the middleweight division, for level of competition he has faced.I got Rubio at 5, right behind Sergio Maravilla Martinez at 1. Julio Caesar Chavez Jr at 2. Daniel Geale 3. Followed by kid chocolate, to round out the top 5. I got Pirog at 6. With Martin Murray, Matthew Macklin, Sam Soliman and Gennady Golovin to round out the top ten in and order.

Guerrero really doesn't deserve a title shot, at least Rubio is dangerous and tested.
