Comments Thread For: Rubio To Fall in Line For Quillin vs. Guerrero Winner

According to the camp of Mexico's Marco Antonio Rubio (56-6-1, 49KOs), he will receive the WBO's number one ranking, at middleweight, when the organization's new ratings are released. The move to place Rubio at number one has caused a minor stir because the boxer has staged his last two fights above the middleweight limit.

Does anyone think that his title run would be anything else?

I guess i am in the minority of thinking that Quillin may not get past Guerrero. He looked quite gassed against the Frenchman in winning the title.

How Rubio keeps getting title shots I'll never know. He's a gatekeeper, and nothing more.

This is gonna be a wasted year for Quillin. Fernando, Rubio, and N'Dam rematch.
