I watched the Zab/Matthysse just a minute ago and am watching Mathysse/Alexander now and honestly. This guy is too slow and punches too wide and I think Garcia would catch him with the left hook on the button. Zab got some good left hooks off on Matthysse. I just don't see anything to trouble Garcia much because when Zab was counter punching he had some success and that's something Garcia is good at. Fight happens I'm taking Garcia possibly by KO. Matthysse is too open when he is winging his punches.

I'd watch if they made this fight. Khan still has a ways to go to earn a rematch IMO.

Why? Khan gave Garcia a shot after he hadn't fought anyone. Khan has fought top 10 opponents since 2009 so surely he should soon get another crack at the title? Plus, money talks and no one at 140 makes more money than Khan (excluding JMM if you will).

This fight will not be made Garcia fighting another old past prime fighter. He will continue to seek these types of fights as long as he can and hold on to the belt.

Dude you're talking about Matthysse punching wide when NO ONE punches wider than Garcia himself. You obviously got your 4D hater glasses on when watching Matthysse. There's plenty of subtle stuff he does in there that goes unnoticed but of course you wouldn't know anything about that. If you think Garcia KO's Matthysse then Idk what to tell you. Garcia got hurt by a shot past prime Morales imagine what Matthysse would do to him.

Zab Judah went 12 with this so called beast at 140. Got off the canvas and made it to the end. Why does a poster have to hate if his opinion of one fighter is not similar to another? It is what it is homie. You think he is great but I don't. Can't we just agree to disagree without being haters? Matthysse was taking some left hooks from Zab. I noticed that before anything and dude is slow. Garcia got hurt by a past his prime Morales? Garcia put Moraels in a coma in the ring. I would like to see Maidana and Matthysse as well. They're around the same skill level in my opinion. Maidana couldn't even finish Morales and he was regarded as a monster puncher. All Matthysse is known for is his power and that seems to be overrated.

I doubt Lundy beats Matthysse. Lundy had a tough fight with Diaz and lost to Pacquiao's sparring partner Ray Beltran.

I also doubt that GB makes Matthysse vs Garcia. Matthysse is not really a draw and far too risky. I would love to see the fight though.

I love Matthysse. He is one of my favorite fighters right now. I hope he gets the Garcia fight. I'll definitely take him to win it and will put some points on it.

Matthysse is too wide and open for a Garcia left hook. Dude is a counter punchers dream. Even Zab was getting off when he countered. I think Matthysse has potential but I don't see him as a better fighter than Garcia. He will walk right into a left hook easy.

If you think Matthysse is all about power the same way you think he's a brawler then you need some boxing 101 lessons. You over here claiming Matthysse punches wide while defending GarcĂ*a at the same time.

Before the KD in the first fight didn't you see Morales hurt GarcĂ*a and go in for the kill then that's when he got dropped.

Garcia fans are in for a rude awakening if the fight ever gets made.
