"Garcia is ducking Mathysse", is being thrown around on this site and gaining more steam with each day that passes.

Where did this come from ? Garcia was thrown in with Morales and was expected to lose, and was hand fed to Khan and he overcame the odds twice. He fought Morales again (rematch clause) and is now fighting the guy who beat Mathysse in Judah ( not concerned with your scorecards).

I can see why he might not be the most "liked" fighter because of the shiet his dad says/does and the fact that their are alot of butthurt Khan fans...

But saying he is ducking Mathysse is a little premature and unfair.

No. There is no way in hell Garcia was expected to lose to a way past his prime Morales. If anything Morales was thrown in as a gatekeeper to Garcia and was expected to lose. Now were there more fans cheering for Morales to win? Yeah, I wouldn't doubt that considering that Morales is a legend. But to truly expect him to win against a younger stronger fighter in Garcia? Unlikely. I will agree with you about the Khan fight though.

Please just please I beg everyone to stop with this Lucas hyping up. He's a good fighter yes but he will not beat Garcia. If Lucas is such a beast how could he not stop Judah? Or break Devon's heart the way Bradley done. Devon was fragile mentally going into that fight and he couldn't even capitalise on it.

He lost a close fight to Judah and beat IMO Devon by a couple points.

Did you even watch any of those fights. Judah was in survival mode after he was knocked down and Bradley broke Alexander's heart with his dome not his fists. Maybe Matthysse should have headbutted his way to a win in the Alexander fight. Give me a break.

What has Garcia done that makes him so good. He knocked out one of the most over hyped fighters in years (Khan), and a shot Morales. And lets not forget how he struggled to beat a flabby Morales in the first fight and Erik was never a top jww.

Matthysse will beat the **** out of Garcia if it ever happens. Haymon and GBP know it and thats why Danny is fighting Matthysse's leftovers. Garcia isn't a slick southpaw mover like Alexander and Judah. He's there to be hit and thats why Matthysse win this fight. If Khan and Morales were able to bust up Danny's face imagine what Lucas's punches will do to him.

I was waiting for someone like you to explain the same about Lucas...I'm confused...maybe I should see a few more of his fights...I've only seen about a lil' less than 10 of them...school me!!

One question though, why didn't Khan do that the first time? Please explain to me who Khan has punished for 12 rounds and then KO'd cause Maidana had him on ***** st and PEDerson was pushing him around and even had him on his bicycle a few times. Also Garcia's dad is a disgrace yet you allow Khan to blame his loss to Freddy's Parkinsons'. The hypocrisy is incredible on this forum. Khan only looks good against people who have 0 power.

There is such a thing as improving your fight game. Nobody ever takes that into account, I can name several boxers that were just ok or pretty good but improved to be very good or great. Matthysse beats Garcia by UD.

The best fight to be made is Garcia/Matthysse. Khan/Garcia wasn't even supposed to happen for the WBC title, so it's just another case of political bullshit. If Khan wanted to prove something, he'd fight Matthysse to get to Garcia, but it seems like the majority of fighters only take the hard road when there's no other choice.

Garcia was a replacement for Peterson. It was supposed to happen, Garcia was the second best fighter after Peterson. Matthysse wasn't being talked about like he is now. Let's not forget at the time Khan-Garcia happened, Matthysse was one month fresh off his best win to date against Soto.

Matthysse is only now picking up steam that he's actually winning fights instead of whining about close decisions.
