Garcia, a 25-0, Philly Fighter, has the Goods, and holds his own, with anyone at JWW.

    • Matthysse has got this one if it happens, the guy is an absolute beast. Could be a FOTY candidate though.

      • Fight of the year 2013 if it gets made. Doubt it though, I don't think Garcia will risk it against Mathysse who is generally unknown to the public something that makes him a HIGH risk LOW reward opponent!

Matthysse is only now picking up steam that he's actually winning fights instead of whining about close decisions.
Garcia/Ajose was supposed to happen, but Khan somehow injected himself in the situation. Since he's the bigger name, he got first dibs, and Ajose had to step-aside and fight Matthysse. Khan/Peterson was WBA/IBF's business, not WBC's.

Like I said, if Khan wants to prove something, he should fight Matthysse or Allakhverdiev instead of expecting a title shot off the strength of a win against Molina (a LW) and Lopez (who had a tough 2012).

Dude Garcia is Wide open too he's left hook especially is very wide but he's overall skill level is i think on par with matthysse nothing special just trains hard and fights hard its true Garcia KO'd Khan and Morales. but the fact is Khan did never really had a great punch risistance to begin with Maidana had him outa there but just couldn't finish and Lamont would have KO'd him if he was a good puncher cuz lamont beat him bad..u r right that morales went the distance with Maidana but and Garica KO'd him i give him credit but very little since Morales is insainly Past he's prime..but Garcia did what he had to do and give he's props for Khan and morales i don't blame him for fighting morales rematch since it was a rematch clause but I'm disappointed that he took the Judah fight to b completly Honest..Matthysse should b getting he's tittle shot since he's mandatory and thats that..Idk if Garcia doesn't fight Lucas after Zab I'm sorry but it is a clear indication that they r avoiding him to try and take a easier fight..idk why GB won't push for this fight since it has a potential to b a FOTY candidate since both of em can ****..hopefully this fight gets made next year..

This guy is too slow and punches too wide and I think Garcia would catch him with the left hook on the button. Zab got some good left hooks off on Matthysse. I just don't see anything to trouble Garcia much because when Zab was counter punching he had some success and that's something Garcia is good at. Fight happens I'm taking Garcia possibly by KO. Matthysse is too open when he is winging his punches.
You mentioned Midana not KOing Khan, but you seem to forget one of the reasons for that was that F**ing Joe F***ing Cortez getting on the way, how many times did he get in the way when Khan was about to be KO or hurt??? I counted at least 5 times.

              • How in the hell do get points to bet on Matthysse????

                • The WBC must want to make Khan-Garcia II, why else would they give him that Silver belt?

Khan cam draw whereas Mathysse can't, so there's the sanctioning fees

Mathysse became mandatory in September? so there's time after the Khan fight in April to make the rematch.

Before the KD in the first fight didn't you see Morales hurt GarcĂ*a and go in for the kill then that's when he got dropped.

Garcia fans are in for a rude awakening if the fight ever gets made.

What has Matthysse been known or praise for on boxingscene since the talks about him and Garcia possibly meeting up? Wasn't his boxing skill but rather his power. My whole thing is that. What has Luca Matthysse done at 140 to make him such a threat to Garcia? That's all I'm saying. Seems like a cool guy and tough fighter but Garcia to me seems to be more impressive. Pople bash Khan and Morales wins for Garcia but what significant wins does Matthysse have at 140? I watched him and his style will get him caught sooner or later. Garcia may not be a superb fighter but he has the tools to beat Matthysse and you don't have to agree but just come see me when/if the fight is made and we can bet points on it.

Didn't take Garcia 5 times or a ref to step in and save Khan from being dropped. Dude got put out.
