Who Does Floyd Fight After Guerrero and Canelo?

It looks like Floyd is fighting Guerrero on May 4 and will then fight Canelo in September if he wins. This assumes both of them win May 4, which is probably not a bad bet, but who else can come close to matching Canelo's marketability after that?

Bradley does not look like a possibility since he is with Top Rank (not that popular either) and other top WWs like Devon Alexander and Paulie don't exactly have the biggest fan bases themselves. I also don't give them much of a chance either. Trout would be a possibility, but he is also relatively unknown even after beating Cotto and likely won't become more known unless he gets a shot at Canelo, which still seems unlikely.

Danny Garcia could move up I suppose, but he still has challenges at 140 after Judah like Matthysse and maybe even Rios. There is even the possibility of a Khan rematch if Khan continues to win. I'd also like to see him fight a Kell Brook, Devon Alexander, or Robert Guerrero at 147 before getting the shot. He also isn't that popular himself yet.

Martinez looks to be the most marketable opponent after Canelo and if he beats Chavez again in September he will likely gain a little more exposure. His status as a top P4P fighter could also likely be used to great effect in promoting a Mayweather-Martinez fight, so I believe it could be a pretty big fight. Martinez is also willing to fight Floyd at 154 or below if given time to try to lose the weight in a healthy manner (especially if it is below 154).

Floyd could also retire I suppose, but it does not look like he plans to retire in 2013 from what I have read. He also said he would fight around five more times after the Cotto fight, but he has not been consistent.

Also, let me know who you think Floyd should fight .

I forgot to mention Marquez. He looks more comfortable at 147 now, but may very well retire. If he does not it looks like he is set up for another Pacquiao fight, so I don't how likely that is either. Could be more compelling than the last fight, but I don't think Marquez matches up well stylistically.

I bet my life he won't fight in September. May, June, July, August, September. That's only four months apart from his next fight (May). You guys need to stop getting duped by this master deceiver. That's what he does when he's selling his next fight. "I'll fight five more times" and all that crap. His next fight is most likely his last.

I certainly expect him to fight at least two more times before retiring and it has been widely reported he wants to fight two times this year, but who really knows.

I do see him fighting Canelo at some point even though Canelo has yet to fight a live body since there is a lot of money in that fight.

If Ortiz can come back strong, I'd like to see him get a rematch. By that time, Floyd will be a little older and the fight could be even more competitive.

He won't be 38 until February 2015, so he could still fight in 2014 if that is what he is planning.

He has also said he would fight five more times after the Cotto fight, so who knows what he will do. 50 Cent says he has no income outside of his boxing fights and Floyd spends the money he earns very fast, so that could also factor into how many more times he fights.

Please no. That fight just isn't compelling. Ortiz would need to do tons of work to make that fight worth while.

He'll rematch Guerrero to try to get his title back.
