how can he be a 10 time champion when he has never unified in a division and only won 1 title in each division?

When a division has a Ring champion, the champion is not ranked #1, he's the champion above #1. Example Marquez was The Ring champion at 135 while Juan Diaz was ranked #1 at 135. Another example, Dawson is The Ring champion at 175, Bernard Hopkins is ranked #1.

                Yes he was.

Past prime yes, he was shot a year later.

Yes Cotto was ranked as the #1 JMW by The Ring when Floyd fought him.

So now after years of it being $8mill, it went down 2million?

ah well, point is it doesnt matter, its who and when you fight, not what your fighting for.
