Jr will never beat Martinez (or any other top tier fighter) with his current skill set. 27 yrs old is pretty old to try to teach a fighter basic defense and how to use the jab. Fights tough competition like Canelo? Can't argue with you there as Jr ran from Martinez for 2+ years and Canelo has yet to face a quality fighter

Beristain is a good choice he controls fighters real well no bs with him plus marquez will be close by jmm likes jr more than canela for sure jr will watch a 39 year old training like if he was fighting for his first world title thats how hard marquez trains and his dicipline is unique.good place for jr to go to get motivated
