Yes, celebrating and waiting until January wouldn't be a problem. I am more concerned if this time Jr. will commit and really train in a gym or once again he is going to be "conditioning" at home. Of course, I have to assume that if he continues having problems sleeping the last possible remedy would be marihuana

Martinez and Andy Lee (a marginal top-10 MW at the time) are the only two he has fought thus far from what I can recall. He is also much bigger than his typical MW opponent.

I suppose he didn't have to fight Martinez, but he was getting called out left and right and his team thought he was ready (at least that's what they said). Martinez also offered him his largest payday up to that point as well.

Macklin would be a fine opponent though for his next fight. I'd prefer Golovkin if he beats Rosado as I assume he will, but still fine.
