If Floyd didnt know who Guerrero was in January of this year, then he definitely didnt know who Robert's first opponent at 147 Selcuk Aydin was.

I agree with you, but is Top Rank going to work with GBP? I'm assuming that is one thing holding up that fight as Floyd's dad and Roger expressed interest.

He's also available as Bradley may be fighting Peterson while Alexander (may be more deserving as well) is tied up with Brook.

Aydin and Berto were both considered to be top 15 WWs at least, so Guerrero is not a ridiculous opponent. His track record before moving up also was decent.

Something I've noticed about Floyd fans.

When his opponent is perceived as low risk/high reward, he gets praised for making "smart business decisions". Example: Choosing Baldomir over Margarito.

When his opponent is perceived as high risk its "what has he done to earn a shot at Floyd. Example: Canelo. Or "Floyd would beat him anyway".

I have great respect for Floyd's boxing ability and skills, but I'm no fanboy.

I truly believe Canelo should fight someone in his own division before getting a shot at Floyd. Also, if Floyd is going to fight someone that big then it should probably be Sergio especially since he is older as well and has at least offered a catchweight unlike Canelo. He has also accomplished more against legitimate challenges in the ring.

I have great respect for Floyd's skills as well but lets look at the facts. Floyd's career defining fight was against Diego Corrales. A good fighter but certainly not great. Floyd's resume lacks quality prime opponents for a fighter of his caliber.

Of course he would, have you ever seen Mayweather not try to have the advantage?

I'll still take Manny over Floyd if the fight ever happens.

Triangle Theories don't work, and Floyd didn't fight the JMM juiced and PED'd up that Manny did, so let's not say Floyd automatically wins, because he doesn't.
if beating past-prime, old, jww's, lw's, top rank employed, weight-drained, come-forward type fighters is "cleaning house" at ww then yea you're right, sleepy-head did "clean house" at ww. i don't think you're that ****** to believe that so surely you jest.
