What's with all the "Guerrero deserves the shot against Floyd"?

Floyd/Guerrero will make less than the Ortiz/Floyd fight.

I'm not buying this fight. Me and my buddies will find a way to see it for free or pay less. Go to a pub or something.

That's possible, but I do think Guerrero has shown more at 147 and throughout his career than Ortiz did prior to his fight with Floyd.

Berto has always been a Haymon hypejob in my book. I never doubted that Guerrero would beat him. He's small and has unbelievably short reach.

Guerrero got nearly dropped by an unconditioned Aydin. Floyd would KTFO the Ghost before even attempting to fight on the inside. Forget that nonsense.

Just because there is more money in a Canelo fight does not mean Canelo is somehow more deserving from a competitive standpoint. Canelo has been built up by GBP and the fact he is a young charismatic fighter from Mexico certainly doesn't hurt.

Pretty much the only reason some people believe Canelo will be a better challenge than Guerrero is because he is bigger and thus has more power.

So with a win over Berto, the ghost goes from unknown to Floyd to most deserving at 147? If you ask me, Bradley is more deserving than the ghost. Although he really lost to Pac, he holds a technical win over him, including Devon Alexander and Lamont Peterson. This alone is more impressive than anything Guerrero has done.

things change in boxing. earlier this year, people said canelo was a cherrypick, now he's a legit threat.
