Broner vs Matthysse

OHHHHHHH
Which is why I say this is a toss up fight for me
But if you look at if who was fighting and when, who would you expect to have better fights.
A young Broner vs (Decent) Ponce de Leon & Quintero ( who I know nothing about)
OR
(Prime) Lucas vs (Over the hill) Judah
In Broner's case, wouldn't you expect him to have tough fights early in his career?
Can't really say the same for Mattyhsse, UNLESS Judah absolutely tears Danny Garcia apart and proves that he still has it and throws the entire 140lb division upside down.
I don't hold much stock in either tbh whilst I did feel Lucas edged it out, most of the rounds was so close there was literally nothing in them.
I definitely think both guys have improved a lot and have learned from their 'losses'. Lucas made the error of starting slow and trying to outbox Judah until late on.
I'm really not sure about how good Broner is/can be tbh due to his level of competition. I couldn't pick anybody over Lucas at 140 now, hes a completely different guy from the one who fought Judah.Comment

Matthysse KOs him for sure in my opinion and Maidana probably KOs him also. Broner is a lightweight. These guys are bigger, they hit harder and they are tougher and gamer so they will beat him.If Broner beats a top guy at 140 I might reconsider but that's how I see it now.Comment

If Broner ever fights Matthysse, I'm betting all my points on Broner. Matthysse is a good fighter, but he is completely overrated around here. He's never even looked great against a decent fighter. I may be wrong about that, but I've never seen it.Comment

It was his first time going more than 8 rounds... He was obviously measuring his energy, and came on very strong when he realized he had the stamina.Comment

If it ever happens and you still feel the same way, let me know. I've got Matthysse slaughtering him.Comment
