LOL....nah really I think the kid is a talented enough boxer who tries WAY too hard to be Floyd but is like a D rated Floyd. He is perceived as some type of phenom but he is a bigger guy beating up on smaller guys.

Others have said that once he moves up, he will carry his skill with him and his power will be proportionate to his proper weight division but his style is not not suited for fights against harder punching guys.

I think he is one of the top 3 most hyped up boxers in the game who will lose at 140 and then his spot will be filled with another future GOAT

I think Maidana gets demolished, it would be nasty.

Matthysse is a different animal though, he's smarter and more patient. He could pull a Ponce De Leon and fight a technical fight against Broner and lose a close decision.

But Zab moved a lot in that fight, something Broner doesn't do (or rarely does).

Man, a lot of people were saying that. Where were you at? A lot of people were also saying if he can beat Demarco, then they'll admit he's a good fighter. Obviously the hate hasn't stopped any. I can see it now, when he does start beating 140 lbs fighters, everyone is going to say wait till he gets to 147, he won't stand a chance there. lol

I hear you man. I haven't seen this type of hype in a long time. I mean come on, Broner beats one decent guy at 135 and now the BronTards think he can clear out 140 but wait Broner's gonna be the first billion dollar fighter according to schaefer

I dont know about a lot of people but i was saying that it was a mismatch and that DeMarco was gonna catch a beating. I Guess The Linares fight fooled a lot of people on here. I mean i saw Linares struggle with a journeyman in his next fight and DeMarco struggled with him for majority of the fight. lol at u thinking everyone who doesnt think he's the goat is a "hater". Its not debatable that 135 is a weak division. Are u saying its not? Lets see how he does at 140 before we declare him the best at the division and all the fights easy ok.

It's an interesting match up; it's hard to see anybody beating Broner at 135 and it's hard seeing anybody beating Matthysse at 140 right now. But let's also keep in mind, both guys have fought the best in their division yet so it's all speculation. Broner hasn't fought Vazquez/Abril and Lucas hasn't fought Garcia/Maidana/Rios. That seems a bit off topic to the thread question, but I just want to point that both guys have more to prove at their respected weight classes before everybody appoints them the best. But as to who I think wins in a Mattysse/Broner match up RIGHT NOW? I think it's a toss up, pretty hard fight to call.

So, if someone doesn't move a lot, they can't beat Matthysse? Please, man. He's not that bad ass at all.

No not at all, you don't have to think of him that highly. Its comments like he will get beat down and shhhiiit like that when noone even knows how tough he is yet. But of course that's their opinion and my opinion is they don't like the guy.
