to you maybe but to anyone who knows it's pretty impossible for ward to outdo pac's carreer , its makes a lot of sense.. breaking the 4 lineal titles alone takes a lifetime to accomplished , how much more with the 8 titles whether paper titles or not....
so by this argument, Manny Pacquiao is the greatest fighter of all time

        ive heard it all now.

Wards biggest issue will be the lack of big named competition for him to fight. He already beat the best guys around his weight. Who else does he fight now? Guys like Pavlik?

Oh, and Manny's multiple weigh class titles are more than a bit watered down. Remember, back in the day there were FAR fewer weight divisions. He holds that record partially because a lot of great fighters never had as many classes available to them.

I think ward is already on Mannys level already even if he hasn't won titles in 8 divisions!!

Although Juan didn't win titles in 8 division yet he just knocked manny out cold!!

I don't ever want to hear about people bragging about Manny's belts... The belts don't mean ANYTHING anymore. They have been watered down over the time when they keep making all these meaningless titles and all these belts for one weight class is just insane. People really need to learn their boxing before bragging about titles. They don't mean ANYTHING anymore. All titles do now is allow fighters to duck top competition.

                    good question TS
A fighter doesn't need to jump 8 weight classes and win 4 Lineal's to be considered greater than Pacquaio.

A fighter could stay in 1 or 2 stacked divisons and clean them out and there's a possibility he could be greater than Pacquaio, for example.

you would say that, Ward had the opportunity to be the LWH Champ and instead he chose to fight him at his own weight in his hometown...

Pacquiao traveled across the world and beat HOF's at their own weight
