What lineup would make GB's May 4th card a "Record Breaker"

I hardly ever miss a PPV, but if this May card is Floyd vs Guerrero and the undercard is shit, I ain't buying it. If Shaefer's idea of a "Record Breaking" event is Floyd vs Robert G with a weak undercard, they ain't getting no where near "Record Breaking".first things first.... grab a delorian, go back a few years...
because the only thing that breaks records is mayweather vs pacquiao...
like i've said before, i know this is boxingscene, but the reality is the majority of people that buy a ppv dont watch..... and dont even care for the undercard, so i have no idea where you guys think having a stack card makes some sort of differenceComment

Nah, the availability of streams has killed any chance of approaching that.
Back when May/DLH set the record streaming service ******.
Now decent quality streams are everywhere.Comment

Mayweather is fighting either Alvarez or Martinez. A long stretch, but I'd expect him to fight even Trout before he fights Guerrero.
Why not...
Mayweather vs. Martinez
Alvarez vs. Angulo
Cotto vs. Guerrero
Khan vs. Garcia II
Trout vs. BundrageComment

Schaefer always over estimates PPV buys. I think it was against Shane Mosley he said it would do 3 million buys or something like that.
If it's floyd vs guererro I would imagine they would simply do the same thing they've been doing which is have Canelo on the undercard, against Angulo. So I would imagine around the typical (fantastic) Floyd numbers around 1.5 million give or take.Comment

I agree, Schaefer and Oscar are full of shit. The question now is, who will they put up against Canelo? Angulo seems about right; he's on the verge of another loss anyway.Schaefer always over estimates PPV buys. This card's looking pretty decent after all (with the addition of the Problem)...
May vs Ghost
Canelo vs somebody
Broner vs Burns (probably)
Now give us a strong opening fight and I might buy this card.Comment
