What lineup would make GB's May 4th card a "Record Breaker"

To have any chance of breaking his record they need as many national/racial groups as possible i reckon, so PRs, Mexicans, Irish white fans, black fans, everybody.

So im thinking May vs Guererro (Black and Mex fans)
Canelo vs Cotto (Mex and PR fans)
Broner vs Burns (Black and Scottish (are there Scots in America?))
Garcia vs Khan II (PR and Pakistani/ Asian/ ****** fans)

Now it has 6 A sides, discounting Guererro and Burns cos they dont have they pulling power by themselves. Then maybe bring over a few Irish fighters like Carl Frampton, Matt Macklin, Tyson Fury or someone to possible grab some Irish support.

Not sure it will quite manage it but would still be excited to watch it!!

Richard Schaefer is talking about a card that could possibly break PPV records on Cinco de Mayo weekend. Mayweather vs Canelo alone won't break the 2.4 million buys that De La Hoya vs Mayweather did in 2007.

In addition to Floyd vs Canelo, GB will need a STACKED card to even think about competing with 2.4 mil. What realistic card could Oscar and Schaefer put together for May 4th that would come close to breaking the May 5th, 2007 PPV record?

I'm thinking it might be a stacked card similar to the ones Don King used to put together in the early '90s. Hopefully we get something like this...

Guerrero vs Berto II
Khan vs Ortiz
Santa Cruz vs Anselmo Moreno
Angulo vs Thurman

...or something like that.

Manny-Floyd would have broken it 3 years ago..but that ship has sailed,crashed and burned

agree on both fronts, larry. pacquiao and floyd would have been a massive event. massive. canelo is a big time draw, but he's nowhere near the level of opponent needed for a pacquiao - mayweather type of fight.

Schaefer likes to think big, Didnt he predict 4M buys for Mayweather-Mosley? He needs to put a card together that would consist of intriguing fights to be able to get 2.4M buys or more.
