What lineup would make GB's May 4th card a "Record Breaker"

Richard Schaefer is talking about a card that could possibly break PPV records on Cinco de Mayo weekend. Mayweather vs Canelo alone won't break the 2.4 million buys that De La Hoya vs Mayweather did in 2007.

In addition to Floyd vs Canelo, GB will need a STACKED card to even think about competing with 2.4 mil. What realistic card could Oscar and Schaefer put together for May 4th that would come close to breaking the May 5th, 2007 PPV record?

I'm thinking it might be a stacked card similar to the ones Don King used to put together in the early '90s. Hopefully we get something like this...

Guerrero vs Berto II
Khan vs Ortiz
Santa Cruz vs Anselmo Moreno
Angulo vs Thurman

...or something like that.

It will be another 15 to 20 years before we see a PPV fight that breaks the 2.4 million PPV record. The only card that he can put together that will even come close to breaking the 1.5 million mark would be Mayweather/Guerrerro and Cotto/Alvarez.

However, it doesn't really matter what the numbers are. Schafer can do what Bob Arum does and lie about the numbers. All the boxing journalists will take him at his word print it without even trying to verify them. Then, again, they may question it since this is Floyd Mayweather and not Manny Pacquaio that we are talking about. Mayweather doesn't get a pass like Pacquaio.

You know, that's actually a card they can do. If Richard is talking truth about a record breaking card/event, this is the type of card we should be expecting... It won't break 2.4 mil, but it would make a good run for second place. And it sets up Mayweather vs Canelo for September (if they both win).

add a de la hoya(comeback) fight vs a puerto rican fighter, lol, de la hoya can fight a propped up bum like cintron (advertising cintron better than he is to the casual fans), lol, maybe the real king of the ppv(oscar) the the real king of the ppv will bring in the other fans that dont even know **** about boxing, lol
