          The funniest one was Baldomir.

LOL, he is now ridiculed by new fans/boxrec warriors. I wish they were here to see how that "journeyman/bum" was hyped up by the anti-Floyd faithful of NSB, Brian Kenny, and the boxing writers.

I remember Larry Merchant saying back in the 80's "A true champion fights all and often".

Yes floyd, but he never dares to be great. He never allows himself to take the risks to be mentioned with the srl, hagler, ali, and the like. Safety, and money are the agenda. Not making a mark on history so that whenever his name is brought up they will regard him in the light of the very greatest fighters ever to lace the gloves.

There's no doubt in my mind he is one of the greatest ever, and I rank him higher than post people. The only problems I have was his 2 year lay off when he should have at least fought Cotto at WW during that time and his once a year fights. But, I do understand he has hand problems and maybe that's one reason for him "pacing" himself over the long haul.
