........you forgot to add remain inactive from year to year..........hahaha...............man give Floyd a break everyone knows he ducked the lil flyweight guy for years especially after he got called out on national tv by the lil fellow! Floyd is a terrific talent but he's more concerned about his record than he is about proving himself to the boxing public. Thats the way he'll be remembered, its a shame to waste talent! Ray.
In his prime he fought 2-3 times a yearComment

Floyd has won 8 titles in 5 divisions,no catchweight or vacant titles..has 0 loses and over half of his fights are title fights..and he has been p4p top 10 since 1998Comment

LOL, he is now ridiculed by new fans/boxrec warriors. I wish they were here to see how that "journeyman/bum" was hyped up by the anti-Floyd faithful of NSB, Brian Kenny, and the boxing writers.Comment

Yes floyd, but he never dares to be great. He never allows himself to take the risks to be mentioned with the srl, hagler, ali, and the like. Safety, and money are the agenda. Not making a mark on history so that whenever his name is brought up they will regard him in the light of the very greatest fighters ever to lace the gloves.Comment

There's no doubt in my mind he is one of the greatest ever, and I rank him higher than post people. The only problems I have was his 2 year lay off when he should have at least fought Cotto at WW during that time and his once a year fights. But, I do understand he has hand problems and maybe that's one reason for him "pacing" himself over the long haul.Comment
