Tough fight for both guys. I see khan getting hammered to the body all night and catching a few bombs upstairs. For lopez he'll have to keep the fight along the ropes but i think he'll eat alot of punches from khan. If this fight happens it should be at 147, but overall it's a good match up.

He's not that hard of a puncher either.

If Khan loses to a Lopez calibur fighter, then retirement is due.

But, he's not going to lose to Lopez. This fight is definitely happening next because it's one of the safest fights to me made at 140 Lbs for Khan against a decent name.
I don't see Lopez as a safe fight for anybody who's not a true A level fighter, which Khan isn't. Lopez hits hard enough, he had Ortz backing up several times in their fight, landed some hard shots to the head and body. His power is solid.

People said the same things about Peterson.

Virgil better teach Khan some defense before this fight happens...According to all the free tickets they were giving away last night, Khan stock in America is dropping really bad. He needs a big win in a big fight and Lopez is the right direction. If he can win in good fashion and get another win from a big name in the division. Khan could be back in the mix...

by the way Josesito Lopez by KO

Ortiz backs up no matter who he's fighting. Ortiz backed up from a shot to pieces Nate Campbell.

His power is "solid" at very best.

Peterson is a much better fighter than Lopez.

Can't knock Khan for at least taking sensible opposition. That is, he's not gunning for FMJ like a ****** (funny that that happened), but he's cherrypicking bums either (I'll excuse the Molina tune-up due to the circumstances).

This is a good fight. Not a definite win for either boxer.

high risk low reward fight for khan

lopez is a much better counterpuncher than most give him credit for and he's very durable at 140-147

lopez is most comfortable on the inside so hunter had better improve khan in that department...however he also starts slow while khan tends to fade a little in the latter part of the fight

                should be good

If Khan wants to win this fight 'easily', Virgil Hunter has a lot to do.

I doubt it after watching last nights fight. I think Lopez is a much better fighter than Molina. It should be one heck of a fight.
