NSB Presents: A Change of Tune

Early 2012: If Floyd picks Canelo, he is a cherrypicker and a ducker, he needs to fight Cotto.

November 2012: LOL Floyd will duck Canelo and fight the smaller Guerrero. If Floyd fights Canelo I would give him mad props, but I doubt he'd fight a big, young and powerful fighter. Lol who was calling this a bad fight? I don't remember that, this is a very good match up. You're making things up.

December 2012: [Rumors of Mayweather-Canelo being close for May 4th] Since when was Canelo ever a deadly fighter? Who has he beaten? 140 pounders? Easy cherrypicked opponent for Floyd.

Deadly? Not sure. He has good body work and combinations. He "looks" to be a top caliber fighter, but he hasn't really fought anyone worth a damn to use as a measuring stick. Beating up older, smaller guys isn't really a test for him. The only older smaller guy I'd consider a test for him would be Floyd and theres talks of it coming off. That to me would measure his mental toughness and ability to adapt more than anything. If it doesn't happen, or afterwards he needs to fight someone whos the same size as him. See if his power is all its made out to be, yeah it looks strong, but its effects on bigger guys wont be like beating up JWWs.

You're just realizing this now? The board has heavy trolling fanatics against floyd, more so than any fighter including manny. If floyd fought Wlad and KO'd him in 1 round they'd find a way to discredit it.

That being said, I hope the Floyd-Canelo fight is made... it should be a great fight and I look forward to it if it comes off.

I'll never forget the "Change of the tune" for the Mosley fight.

I don't think anything will ever compare to that.

Before that, the way everyone constantly accused Mayweather of ducking Mosley, and how he would never fight him, and would ridicule him and say "Fight Mosley! And prove everyone wrong. Everyone will give you props if you fight Mosley" even quoting RA The Rugged Man's ridiculous interview with Mayweather

I honestly believed people would give him credit after that fight.

After that, I just conceded that no one is ever going to give Mayweather credit. It's just that simple.

I remember that. As soon as the Mosley fight got signed, all you saw was Pacquiao fans with avatars of a photoshopped bald, grey haired, wrinkly Shane Mosley.

But that didn't end well for those dumb little ******s.

After Roach embarrassingly turned down Mosley for a late 2009 fight with Pacquiao, claiming he's too good; Mayweather signed to fight Mosley for early 2010 right after he took care of Marquez. Here's where all the crap talking really came back to bite them in the ass, Pacquiao signs to fight with Mosley AFTER a loss and a draw, and AFTER Arum says Mosley is too old and was huffing and puffing by the 3rd round vs Mora. Then THEY had to do all the defending and tried to legitimize Pacquiao vs Mosley. Hilarious moment. They are a funny bunch, those Pac fanatics and anti-Floyd fans.

He would never fight Hatton (2005- early 2007), Why don't you fight the "Relentless Ricky Hatton or the guy who beat Judah in baldomir - Brian Kinney (2006/2007), Judah is too quick for him and he is a southpaw... Mayweather don't do southpaws, Fight Cotto, He would duck JMM just watch, Mosley would KO him and he knows it..
