STOP! Lewis couldn't even hurt McCall & he had his hands down, while Lewis was teeing off. So it wouldn't mattered who his trainer was......
Nobody could hurt Mccall. The way to beat him is to outbox him and dominate via ud. Which was exactly what Lennox was on route to do except Mccall had a melt down.

Mitchell has guts taking this one on...
For example, Amir Khan never wanted the rematch with Prescott and he's not gonna fight Garcia again.
Mitchell is not a ***** like that, but he has a punchers chance at most.

Given the fact Ward should have been disqualified in the Kessler fight, a rematch makes lots of sense.

Disqualified for what, giving him a beating?

Intentional headbutts, holding. Ward is a dirty fighter, and his hometown referee let him get away with giving Kessler longtime damage inflicted by headbutts

Mitchell should not take this fight IMO. There is a time when a fighter need to correct his mistakes and rebuild. But to make the same mistake again and expect different results is never a good career move.

True. Another example is Vitali never avenging his loss to Chris Byrd.

Problem with this is if he loses. If he loses his career takes a giant leap backwards, not just a small one like the first loss. I seriously see losing to the same guy twice in a row (someone you should beat) worse then losing to different guys.

Hopefully he has learned to be a little more patient and not reach in.
sometimes a guy you should beat has your #. maskaev had rahman's & mercer lost to jesse ferguson(out of shape for this fight)& lost his title fight vs bowe because of it & he barely won the rematch but he could dominate a guy like tommy morrison & give anyone a tough fight.
