If she meant it in a "God is punishing you" type of way, then I'd think that's pretty ******. But what she says isn't really that crazy. I grew up Cathlic. Other than going to church every Sunday, the whole thing was pretty lax and it wasn't so involving. I visited some some family members in Texas who are protestant and they ended up being super religious. The church seemed to take up so much of their time. It wouldn't surprise me if religion really did make Pacquiao unfocused to a certain extent.

On the other hand, Andre Ward seems to be pretty religious and it hasn't affect him all that much.

the catholics and protestants (who protested against the roman catholic church) both claim to base their beliefs on the bible.
you should really check out which one is actually consistent with the bible and which isnt. your relatives in texas might be on to something.
