Interesting pictures. Pray tell, how you came to the conclusion that Marquez (well noted counter puncher) got a lucky punch simply from the compubox? What evidence have you gleaned that caused you to believe that one of those punches landed was a lucky punch?

I think this retirement talk from Marquez camp is business talk, now JuanMa's option is sky is the limit, even a rematch with floyd is a possibility and will do great business and if a 5th fight with Manny ever happens they will be on closer terms and he may end up with his biggest purse ever....

imho Team Marquez will be waiting for the best offer from possible opponents...

Marquez needs to give Pac a fifth fight if Pac wants it. It's only right, considering all the fights Pac gave to Marquez. He gave Juan a chance + more, although he could have just said no after winning the second or third fight officially.

If he does good for him.. Great way to go out. At some point these two have to stop fighting each other.

pacquaio doesn't give fights, he fights who his promoter wants him to fight. Remember all the post fight interviews?

"I'll fight who my promoter wants me to fight."

The difference is Pacquiao was forced to give him those rematches cause he knows the decisions could've gone either way. If Marquez won the first 3 fights no one would complain.

Marquez laid him out in a decisive way which was what people wanted to see.

He can now retire on top.

Both Marquez and Pac should retire. They gave us fans a great rivalry and a great ending. Both men loved the sport, their fans, and respects each other as human beings. These two men will be remembered as warriors and they will be great friends as long as they live. Mexicans and Filipinos respect these fighters and they represent what's good in boxing.

Should Marquez accept a 5th fight, he should get 50/50 and have the fight in Mexico. Pacquiao would love to fight him in Mexico, he's always felt welcome there.
