I think Floyd would have a field day teeing off on Canelo myself. I don't see that kid as a threat at all.

Cotto did have some good success but he has a great jab, hes not slow at the foot and he can cut a ring off a lot better than Canelo.

Floyd had decent power (even if that) at 147lb. He didn't carry it well moving up to 154lb division so I disagree with your statement. Canelo won't have to worry about cutting the ring off because Floyd is a stationary fighter.

Mayweather likes to duck/weave shots via shoulder roll. Canelo will torch that body all night. Mayweather will be a "punching bag" to the body, I hate using that term.

I'm glad that people think Canelo or Guerrero or whoever are hard fights for Floyd. It should help those fights sell. I personally think Guerrero would get embarrassed and Canelo would get outclassed and punished, and therefore, I'm not looking forward to those fights. I'd rather Floyd retire if his fights are going to be meaningless, but we know he wants that money.

I am LMFAO at people who talk as if Canelo is this relentless Pressure Fighter and has this "GREAT ONE PUNCH KO POWER"...I just seen a Junior Light Weight get back up repeatedly after getting knocked down a few times by Canelo, Cortez is the one who stepped in and saved Josesito Lopez from himself because he was clearly outmatched because of the weight difference

I think Mayweather could eventually lose...but it won't be to Canelo or Guerrero! I give fighters like Trout or Martinez a much better chance at beating Mayweather then Guerrero or Canelo...hell I give Guerrero a better chance at beating Mayweather then I do Canelo be be honest...at least Guerrero earned his way to a fight with Mayweather, Canelo haven't done ****

But the idiots on this forum are doing what they usually do, Hyping Up Mayweather's Potential Opponent but then once he beats them all of you will come back and say "WELL GUERRERO/CANELO WAS OVERRATED...MAYWEATHER WAS SUPPOSE TO BEAT THEM"

-Mayweather is past prime, almost 36 years old.

-Mayweather not as mobile as he used to be which is very crucial against someone like Canelo. Mayweather on the ropes trying to duck/weave is Canelo's wet dream.

-Mayweather doesn't have the power to keep Canelo off of him. Without the power/movement, Canelo can potentially walk Floyd down and punish him.

-Floyd did not have a good showing against Cotto at 154lb. Although Mayweather definitely won, we saw Cotto landing some big shots. 154lb was not a good weight for Mayweather.
Gomes won as many rounds against Canelo in a six round fight than Cotto did against Mayweather in a 12 round fight. Bring on Canelo. He will get BTFU.

Canelo can definitely do it IMO, but it would be nice to see Canelo against someone decent at 154 to be able to determine how the fight would go.

Floyd beats Canelo fairly easily right now. I don't wanna see it because :

                      1. Canelo doesn't deserve that fight

                      2. That clear defeat would kill his momentum and negatively affect his career which would be bad for boxing because he's one of the future stars.
