I think he was very very rusty and got caught in hes signature way trying to finish Farenas and earlier also but took it all and didnt go Khan but Farenas is the one who surprised the **** out of me he was throwing some Donaire left hooks.

Decent Performance from Yuri given the layoff, he was nearly a highlight reel KO victim though!! ...... apart from that he took the shots pretty well, didn't know much about Farenas but I remember some posters on here saying he had KO power and could suprise Gamboa.... he nearly did. Gamboa needs activity and lots of it, he's 30 going on 31 so no time to waste.

I didn't expect much out of Farenas either and was expecting him to be nothing more then fodder and a tune up for Gamboa. I was also surprised that Farena never really turtled up either, he still threw punches even when Gamboa was crowding him.

Gamboa looked good, I think a lot of people are not giving credit to Farena. That guy is a tough nail man! Very resilient and huge heart. I only wish Gamboa would fight with his damn hands up!

farenas did a good job i thought he was just a tune up i would like to see more of him guy has heart and comes to fight if it wasnt for the cuts i think he would have finished off gamboa the ring rust did play a part but a small part gamboa has a suspect chin and will get expose sooner or later he also gets lazy in rounds when he should dominate

Perhaps Gamboa isn't too small for Broner after all. He weighed 148 tonight and seemed to carry the weight well, Broner also weighed 148 vs Demarco all in all I think Gamboa is faster but Broner is a bit stronger..
