The first Byrd thread for the new forum!

I just have to say this for the new forum. Chris Byrd has all time great defense. He is the most skilled HW out there.

Stuff you have already heard from me but I have to say it again for the new era of Boxingscene.

and heres the 1st byrd put down...he got beat by w-klit..beat by ike ibeabuchi the rapist..close to being beat by v-klit
got a draw from golota but imo he lost a close fight

so let the byrd hating begin.....soon as i can change my screen name judas will be back

Chris Byrd is a good fighter. He has great defense against the smaller heavyweights. The bigger heavyweights have seem to find him such as Wladimir, Vitali, Ike and Golota. That's why I wanted Lennox to fight him but for whatever reason it never happened. Lewis would of beat Byrd in my opinion.

haha i beat ya to the byrd bashing...and i cant believe you actually had to say uh before insulting him...

lewis didnt fight him because in manny stewrards words "why have lennox chase byrd for 12rds and look bad doing it"
i do give credit to byrd for not ducking the fights...
he said about mannys comments "if im so bad or annoying then beat me and get me out the way"

the manny quote was more accurate than the byrd quote but both are good enough

Byrd has slowly been growing on me, that is despite how lackluster he appeared against Golota. The fact that speed is a rarer commodity at heavyweight then power is, and Chris Byrd posses an unusual amount of both hand and foot speed- so the fact is that he should be competitive in any fight he is involved in.

byrds hand speed is lousy imo...and that gay ass pawing he does,,well i wish hed go back to yogi bear and stop unfairly holding that title he should of lost a few times
and as for ruiz..the only reason he has a belt is because he made a deal to lose to roy jones as long as he got belt back and got the money fights afterwards

why else say your proud to be world champ again

if i was handed a belt by default purely because his royness doesnt want it id be gutted..so gutted id persistently push for a rematch to really prove my worth
but then ruiz has got what he wants...guaranteed belt win lose or draw..who else can claim that
