Don't Undestand The logic Of Trout Critics

People jump all over canelo for not fighting cotto, because to be the best at 154 you have to beat cotto, then when Trout defeats cotto he isn't considered the best. He has to now fight Canelo, who was criticized for not fighting cotto, the so called best. WTF? If trout has to fight canelo then that makes canelo the best, and if Canelo is the best in the division, then he is not to inexperienced to fight floyd in 2013.

Now that Cotto lost, he is a past prime worn out fighter.... which he wasn't when Canelo talks were happening

Canelo is certainly not that best at 154 when he has yet to fight any of the Top Fighters at 154

Trout is the true #1 154 fighter even over Mayweather who don't even belong at 154 and cherry picked his way to a Title as well...Canelo is a PAPER CHAMPION and so is Mayweather IMO (at 154 at least), but at least Mayweather Earned His Title against a Formidable Champion...The WBC was HANDED TO Canelo after Martinez gave it up and moved to 160...if Martinez did not move up to 160 and stayed at 154...WOULD NONE OF THESE GUYS HAVE TITLES!

Respect is EARNED...NOT GIVEN, the guy has been Given everything thus far in his career, he is probably about to be GIVEN a fight with Mayweather...he never earned it! He haven't earned anything thus far in his career...not even his fan base he has earned, even that was given to him because he is Mexican

Sure he got his fans fooled, they have their PRIDE, many of them don't care about boxing just as long as their own is at the top they don't give a ****...but as soon as others do the same damn thing they are quick to complain and talk **** about that fighter

Nobody other than Canelo fans think he's the man at 154. I think most would agree he may be the goods but most would also agree he's done nothing but fight blown up JR Welters. I haven't really seen disparaging posts about Trout.

I've seen people say Trout shouldn't get credit for beating Cotto

This site get's more absurd by the day.

Consider the source when reading those posts. You have to ignore a lot of posters here.

Who the hell said Cotto was the best at 154? To me, there is NO best at 154. However, Mayweather, Trout or even Kirkland are the closest to "best" at 154. Cause they OFFICIALLY have a win over one of the top guys.

If these guys ever start fighting each other or stiffer opposition, then we will see who the best is.

Mayweather's best wins at 154: Cotto...
Cotto's best wins at 154: Margarito? Mayorga? Foreman? No thanks
Trout's best wins at 154: Cotto and Rodriguez
Lara's best wins at 154: Williams
Vanes' best wins at 154: Who????
Molina's best wins at 154: Cintron? Arguably the best overrall resume win or lose
Kirkland's best win at 154: Molina, Angulo
Bundrage's best win at 154: Ouma?
Canelo's best win at 154: Still trying to figure it out

Aside from those "signature" wins they have fought NOBODY. So how can you call any of them the best at 154? Like I said, resume wise, Mayweather, Trout and Kirkland are probably the "best".

Trouts last fight was against cotto

                    Canelos was against josessito lopez

Trout is top dog at 154 and even called canelo out but canelo left the arena like a b1tch
