Even fight imo. I feel that Canelo can take it though.

Like how Trout called GBP out on their bull**** about protecting their "Golden Goose".

Although it's probably a guarantee that Cotto will fight Canelo in May they can't protect him forever.

And it's a damn shame because I think Canelo is an extremely talented fighter and does not need the extra protection that GBP is giving him.

Trout outboxes Canelo. Canelo is not gonna fight him in 2013 for sure. GBP has to make some more cash off him with gimme fights against midget, the elderlys and children.

canelo - trout I dont think will happen. Its too much risk for canelo, very big shot of loosing there and they are focused on making canelo the undefeated superstar with easy fights.

The risk/reward isnt there for trout like it was for a cotto/canelo fight. Hell GBP is still saying cotto-canelo may be a go. Trout will be ducked.

It will be Canelo v Cotto. Cotto now fits the profile for a Canelo fight. Over thirty, running close to empty, recently beat. The guy I'm starting to wonder about is Shaefer. He seems to like putting his fighters in deep and giving away all the advantages. He acts like he wants the other guy to win. Just because your fighter says he'll fight anywhere, anytime, that doesn't mean you have to take him at his word and give everything away.

The Racket Squad: The Theater of The Unfair

In another prizefight era the concept of a ‘Ginger’ receiving the option of avoiding the winner of an obvious, glorious victory would be incomprehensible.
The fans would not hear of it.

If Saul Alvarez refuses to fight Austin Trout the reason is evident.
Austin Trout would take the unprepared child to school.
De La Hoya cannot allow his cash cow to fight a true boxer.

These promoters are killing the sport by inches and dismiss men such as Mr. Trout who keep the very dream that Boxing is alive and well.

Canelo / Cotto would be no better than a WWE event.
Miguel no longer has the capacity to elevate his craft and any serious follower of the Sweet Science knows this as surely as they know the names Johnson, Robinson, Ali, Frazier or Leonard.
But cash speaks louder than words and there are still dollar signs in the name ‘Cotto’.

Just as Saul will be forced to cash out against Floyd or Austin because there is nowhere to run, Cotto will now fight for his family’s security, not the glory.

Austin Trout defined himself last night in a very important manner that cannot be ignored.
Boxing is the only sport that does not recognize a victor as ‘World Series’ friendly.
Losing is losing by any definition.

Trout/ Alvarez should be a contest DEMANDED by any true fan of this once great sport.

Yeah life ain't fair. But here is an opportunity to shed the notion that the game is always fixed on behalf of the powerful and wealthy.

Cotto may be harder to hit but Canelo is PHYSICALLy just as strong if not stronger than Trout and as big too. And he brings a bigger punch than Cotto at 154. Solid matchup and important unification and hope it happens. But both these guys are used to smaller guys and need to fight each other. Can see Trout using his style to win a close decision but my pick is Canelo by mid rounds stoppage because his pressure can make the difference.

Trout is so right cause Canelo is easier to hit than Cotto & doesn't have the experience or skills Cotto has & has shown to get tired earlier in a fight than Cotto. & Canelo has been staggered by way smaller guys(like Miguel Cotto's brother who is actually a lightweight)..Trout showed against Cotto that he could hang with the elite & could take a good shot so it's a no brainer that Trout has what it takes to beat Canelo..

Stop dreaming Trout you aint fighting Canelo anytime soon as Canelo is reserved for Floyd. The winner of Floyd vs Canelo fights Trout.

Floyd can forget Pac for now.
