I think Trout won it 8-4 but the rounds were close and I could see 7-5. The scores were way too wide and didn't reflect the competitive nature of the fight.

Trout won, but it wasn't a wipeout like a 119- score would suggest.

I'm a cotto fan..and I had it 116-112 and that's me giving cotto a few more close rounds than most.I do think 119-109 was not right but Byrd may have gave all the close rounds to trout and that's fine too..

I had Trout winning 116-112, and to be honest I looked for rounds to give to Cotto...

Trout winning rounds 1,2,7,8,9,10,11,12.
Cotto winning rounds 3,4,5,6..

Same exact score(and rounds) that I had.

I think there was 3 close rounds that you could score to Cotto i only gave him the 3rd myself. Trout did better work throughout the rounds and Cotto would land a few punches and the commentators would say Cotto won the round. It was pathetic and Cotto landed nowhere near the numbers there BS punch stats said.

Boxing/Commentator Paulie Malignaggi called out judge Adalaide Byrd for her 119-109 score in favor of Austin Trout. I actually had it 117-112 (8-3-1) for Trourt, but 119-109 means Cotto only got one round in that scorecard.

What is interesting is that many British fans called out Byrd also for giving Hopkins the win over Calzaghe in that split decision score. Some even made the allegation since Byrd is black she favors black fighters.

Is Malignaggi correct should Byrd stay home next time?
