Dude Cotto was never really that great. He was good and had balls but not great. Just be happy he didn't fight Canelo

Seriously Bundrage was the fight to take because it was an easier fight that would showcase Cotto "the boxer". At 154 Cotto is more of a counter puncher(He did better against Trout moving and countering) at 154 he can't pressure this huge guys.

bundrage might still be a level too high for cotto at this point...he needs to build confidence and bundrage will stink the place out and make it rough..

the reason cotto tried keeping the pressure on trout was because he knew the crowd wouldnt be pleased if he counterpunched him all night. rewatch it...every time the fight kind of paused cotto would chase trout and try to land combos to not disrupt the action

Cotto is a small short armed boxer who is average

Cotto has been battered 4 times and is not great. Cotto with his 5'6" height and his 8 inch jab belongs at 147lbs not 154. Trout beating the hell out of the smaller slower Cotto was not an upset. Cotto is not that good and is too small.

Trout was a tough fight and Cotto took it. Trout won the fight last night the guy can fight I had it 115 to 113. It's a tough loss for Cotto but it happens he'll bounce back.
