I think Gatti has a better chance to beat Hatton than most fighters at 140 and 135 do. Gatti can win brawls, and that is exactly what this will be. I think Hatton will beat him up and stop him on cuts, but Gatti has a good chance to win on the grounds that both guys cut so easily! This will be a blood bath and an exciting fight, and maybe it's wrong, but I want to see it. Besides, Gatti deserves another big payday and Hatton deserves a grand entrance into the United States. This fight will make him a star in the states if he wins.
If Gatti wins this month, do you want to see him fight Hatton?

He did just get outclassed in a title shot, and there are many guys in line in a very rich 140lb division, and it looks like he's set to get another crack at two titles in fighting Hatton.
Granted Hatton wants the fight to tune up, fight on US soil in an exciting fight to create a bigger US fan base,
but do you like this match up and think it's justified that Gatti fights for those titles?
I'll say yes.
Under the circumstances of the champion looking at it as a tune up, I'd like to see Arturo get one last crack in a fight where he's sure to have someone who will go toe to tow.
Hatton's too young and agressive, and Gatti's been through too many wars to pull it off, but it will sure be a good fight to watch.
its about money. big money and recognition for hatton.more gain for less pain.
also agree with gatti fan posters that he should retire before further damaged.
if there was one boxing commission and one belt for each division this fight wouldnt happen. but then, the zab/floyd wouldnt happen either.Comment

Well I don't think Ricky wants to move up to fight at 147 if its anyone besides Mayweather and I think Gatti is much better off at welterweight because he's struggling too much to make 140 and he has 147 power anyways. I think he will appear slightly faster at 147 too. IF Gatti has a superfight in him left I'd rather see it against Cotto than Hatton. Cotto is actually better than Hatton (in my opinion anyways) but with Cotto's recent fights in which he's been stunned or dropped, Gatti would certainly have a puncher's chance of knocking Cotto out because Gatti has that kind of power. I'd rather see Arturo get his feet wet with 2-3 fights at welterweight before he fights a superfight to cap off his career and would rather see it against Cotto than Hatton but Hatton would be a more realistic win for Hatton than Mayweather was, not to say Hatton isn't extremely goodComment

Hatton appears dead set on GREATNESS...he could sit over in Manchester and make millions and millions fighting so so opposition (my boy Calzaghe) but again it appears he is set on greatness...Hatton may be soemthing special and he is willing to leave home to prove it!
There's a lot of 'ifs' in there scappy, and Floyd could be the undisputed Welterweight champion before Hatton even fights once in the US.
I think Floyd may look to continue to move up in weight if he beats Judah.Comment
