    ok, nice thread

gatti has power, some boxing skills, and decent stamina but he cant
handle pressure, as he showed against the not so great mickey ward.

hatton is THE pressure fighter, will always last 12rds, has a great
chin, and has an amazing boxing mind. plus hes dirty, which gatti wont
enjoy either. unless gattis workrate improves vastly, this is gonna be a
massacre for hatton, he will walk gatti down until he crumbles.

ward layed out the gameplan, hatton should have it mastered by fight night

well, he won't have judges and refs in the US that practically work in his corner, so the dirtiness may not benefit him. Without the tag team pair of Micky Vann and Dave Parris as refs and/or judges, he may actually have to fight clean.

In terms of a US introduction this is a perfect fight for Ricky Hatton, sure he will take a few shots because that is what his style is designed to do but he will alos show how damn brutal he can be and he will break apart Gatti in much more of a brutal fashion then Floyd did.

Good "welcome to the US" fight for Hatton.

This would be just a showcase fight for Hatton and I don't really see much of a war as I do a beating. Hatton is young, fast, strong and brings alot of pressure. I don't see Gatti hanging with Hatton more than a couple of rounds after that it's all Hatton giving Gatti a brutal beating.

Hatton by KO inside of 6.

I really don't want to see Gatti take this beating.

He is more of a circus side show now...."lets see how much punishment he can take this time" seems to be the battle cry.

time to bring in the Kangaroo.

I am of the same opinion but I'll tell you what if Ricky signs with Oscar and comes across the pond Floyd is eiither going to have to face Ricky or he will lose a lot of credibility. (I really believe Hatton wants this fight more then Floyd-I have nothing to base that off of-just a feeling I get)

Hatton appears dead set on GREATNESS...he could sit over in Manchester and make millions and millions fighting so so opposition (my boy Calzaghe) but again it appears he is set on greatness...Hatton may be soemthing special and he is willing to leave home to prove it!

I would like to see this fight happen but the problem is that gatti would win the fight. Hatton should fight someone like Cotto.
