If you watch the actual interview, Arum looks like he has next to zero interest in this fight. He was just saying what the reporter wanted him to say.

People need to get a grip and face the facts...

1. Mayweather isn't going to fight Pacquaio first after such a lengthy layoff from fighting..that would be ****** for both parties. If Mayweather were to do it and lose the excuse would be he hasn't been active and manny capitalized on it..So that's nulled.

2. GBP has openly stated they are negotitating Floyd's next opponent (Canelo or Guerrero) both of which are GBP in-house fighters..I think it'll be Guerrero for the same reasons I stated in point #1.

3. Pacquaio seems to be fighting twice in 2013 which still gives us the fall if he fights in April and Mayweather in May.

4. What is the damned obsession with May 5th? Neither guy is Mexican!! Nor do they celebrate the holiday..fighting May 5th makes no sense unless one of the opponents is mexican.

5. Who cares when they fight as long as they fight...can't think of anyone here who isn't going to buy the fight because it's not on a holiday!!
