You could have read all about it on Boxingscene, instead of believing the usual mentally disturbed suspects-your fellow looney Maybugs. The "stadium" was to be a TEMPORARY pre-fab structure, of 42,000 seats, built by MGM on their vacant 10 acre lot across the street from where their casino is and would be expected to stand for up to 2 years.

It was an MGM Grand concept, and, since Arum is the biggest and best promoter, as well as having the biggest boxing attraction under contract, they discussed it with him. During one of his TV interviews he passed it on, saying he thought it was a good idea as it would have thousands of cheaper seats, allowing fans who couldn't afford much, to attend. They didn't build it, because a key component of the fight, Mayweather, was too elusive to pin, and he was also increasingly shown as unstable and undependable and liable to be too tangled up in his frequent law-breaking activities.

roflmao i find it funny that you mention "fantasy land," considering you're a hardcore pac dickrider, makes it that much more memorable. Im not sure what one has to go thru to have such a simple minded mindset such as yourself, but open your eyes man, whatever reason floyd doesnt want the fight and whatever reason pac/arum doesnt want the fight, both teams just look foolish. me personally, I think the money team looks slightly more foolish cause floyd and the rest of the boxing experts pretty much agree that floyd would beat pac in a wide UD, so whatever the reason (business) he aint tryin harder to make it, it is what it is, but then again, you have puppet master arum who comes up with more excuses than a north philly pimp, which may or may not make it even more funnier that people are still blaming floyd rather than both teams. it is no shock that you only see it one way, but thats why no one takes you seriously, not even you take yourself seriously. impossible to...
